About Why You Decided To Start Piano Lessons
When I was five, my mom and dad hired a piano teacher for me. Of course I didn't practice enough and quit. Less than a year later I decided I really did want to play the piano and had 13 years of classical lessons. Piano did not come easy to me, and there were many times I wanted to throw in the towel, but I kept at it.
Now I teach the chord piano method for a living. My students love the method because it allows them to play their favorite songs. The chord method still takes practice, but nothing like I had to do. Many of my adult students also took lessons as a kid, but quit and regretted it later in life. Now I'm teaching them the chord method, as well.
So what's your story? Whether you hated piano lessons as a kid and quit or never took any and wished you had, we'd like to hear about it!
